Remember how I mentioned once that war is “90% boredom, 10% terror”? Those boring times seem to drag on, and in an abstract way you know it is only a matter of time before something happens. On the one hand, you want the boredom to be over, but then as soon as you get to do something… well, “exciting”, you can’t wait for an opportunity to go back to that quiet time, whiling away the hours until rotating home.
