Just a quick post; the comic itself is pretty self-explanatory. Chloe was in the hospital, Brad got home just barely in time for Juni to pick him up at the airport and take him to be with her.
I have done a lot of international travel, and known enough people having kids, to know that by the time these two get next to each other, they will both be completely exhausted. Oh, well, “Aunt Juni” will be there to take care of everyone.
Public service (military or first responder type) can be hard on families. People have to pull together and help each other, especially in groups like Reserves and National Guard where large support networks that exist for Active Duty aren’t present. Regardless of where you fall on the service spectrum, keep an eye out for one another.
