The comic “Old War Stories” initially went up without commentary. The following was added in April of 2014:

For awhile there, the “Grenada Raiders” were the guys with the most recent combat experience. The Vietnam guys were either getting out, or promoted so high in the food chain that they didn’t have a lot of daily, regular contact with the troops.

Then the Grenada Raiders got set aside by the Panama veterans, and then in 1991 it was the Gulf War vets, then Somalia guys.
