I admire the folks who choose to teach Junior High/Middle School. I couldn’t do it. Teaching it would mean having to put up with Junior High age kids, and I couldn’t stand them when I was one of them. Although being in combat might be a good psychological preparation for teaching that age group– you’ve already learned to deal with arbitrary and random outbursts of noise which may or may not have anything to do with you or be an immediate danger; and work within an unresponsive and clueless hierarchy that you unfortunately depend on to get through the day.
Actually, Joe might be good at it, but alas, he’s going to finish his time at the University, so consider that bullet to be dodged.
