As summer draws to a close, Joe and Juni enjoy one last inner-tube trip down the Boise River. Tubing or floating the river is a favorite summer activity and there’s a lot of the river that passes through the city, along an extensive Greenbelt. It’s a great way to cool off and relax.
Of course, classes at BSU –Boise State University– are going to start soon, so they have to make plans for that. BSU looms large in the city, with a large campus and a variety of sports teams. While I, personally, never attended there I know many people who did go there and it seems that each time I’ve lived in Boise I was somewhere very close to the campus and at times even walked through it on the way to one of my jobs a few years back. It’s a really pleasant looking place, if you have the chance to visit, and there’s bridges that connect the campus to a park, greenbelt, and the local zoo as well as the library.
