This was an actual “Electrical Danger” warning sign I saw posted on an electrical transformer box recently:

As soon as I saw it, the first thing I thought was “Man, even the Flying Spaghetti Monster can be a wrathful god!” So of course I had to take a picture, and as the thought amused me over the course of the day (and this happened, I should mention, while on duty at an Army Reserve facility, so it is “on official time”) I realized I had to turn it into a comic.

For the uninitiated, the “Flying Spaghetti Monster” is a satire on religion. The idea is to come up with a ridiculous premise and see how far it can be pushed by a society that can be a bit uptight and all-too-serious about its “religious liberty”. Here is a depiction of the Flying Spaghetti Monster so it can be more readily apparent how I was able to see the image through that lens:

I don’t know what it would take to make him a wrathful god, but I’m sure it is something quite heinous.
