I frequently hear “Airborne stories” from guys that were paratroopers. They’re always fun stories in my opinion, even though (or maybe because) I was never in the Airborne myself. From my point of view, the types of weird things that happen in Airborne operations are almost like superhero stories gone bizarrely wrong.

I was the guy that was always in the Mechanized units. I mentioned in the past how nice it was to ride along with a couple dufflebags full of personal gear and extra comfort items, food, and so on; but the Airborne guys I talked to wouldn’t give up their way of life for anything.

Well, until they get into their 40’s. Then they sure like to ride along.

As far as the art goes, I again used minimal original art and inked it digitally. I am using digital inks exclusively now, and it sure does seem to help speed up the processes. Of course, I’m still experimenting and I’ll try to include more dynamic art in the future.
