There’s one constant about going to the medics in any branch of military service, especially the Army– it is pretty much guaranteed that if you have any sort of problem or pain, no matter what it is, you will be given a bunch of Motrin. This is a powerful muscle-pain reliever with a lot of ibuprofin in it. Of course ibuprofin affects people differently, but I know I’ve gotten it from time to time and it pretty much just knocked me out. One thing’s for sure; they give you a lot of it– a pillowcase full doesn’t seem too far off, from my perspective.
