…and of course, once you get into a military vehicle, the need to “go” seems to increase tenfold. Probably because of all the extra weight you’re carrying on you, but also because your chain-of-command is constantly telling you to “hydrate, hydrate, hydrate”. Every little bump becomes an exercise in anxiety– and the suspension in military vehicles is not exactly “air-cushion ride” type. You feel pretty much everything.
There is of course one error in the comic as it is presented: the cab of the FLTV (Family of Light Tactical Vehicles) truck is nowhere near that watertight. The FLTV is a cool truck otherwise, and the seating arrangement is as presented: there’s a standard side-by-side seating arrangement with a driver and a passenger in the front, and then the vehicle commander sits above and in the middle behind them– in what I like to call the “Captain Picard Chair”.
