It actually happened to me like this. I got to Kuwait, and walked out in my regular uniform, comfy and even a little too warm. And I saw a guy huddled up, shivering. I think I asked if he was okay and needed to go to sick call; I was actually worried about him… and he said, “I just spent the year in Iraq. This is FREEZING.”

…and I thought, “This… is my future…”
