Seriously, there are all kinds of amazing poses we could provide to reflect the reality of today’s soldiers. A guy with a mirror on a stick looking under a car; a guy pantomiming instructions to a local national so someone else can search him; directing traffic at a control point; bouncing out a coil of concertina (barbed) wire; reading a book or playing with a smartphone while watching nothing happening from a guard tower… a new breed of soldiers, indeed.
