Sometimes when someone says they have a stress injury, I want to ask them who they stressed out so bad they wanted to injure them. Fortunately, I never actually ask that; I have a feeling the response would be… negative.

Sergeant Skeeves shows up from time to time and he is the strip’s version of the “toxic NCO”. Loud, opinionated, judgmental and generally obnoxious, he’s the guy that does the openly bad-example things we hear about in those briefings we always get. Yeah, if he punched someone, he’d be in deep trouble, but there’s always That Guy out there, somewhere. That’s why those “common sense ain’t so common” briefings always exist.
